Philippine Consulate General in Melbourne and MWO-Canberra Conduct Joint Mobile Outreach in South Australia

17-18 April 2026, ADELAIDE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA — The Philippine Consulate General in Melbourne, together with the Migrant Workers’ Office (MWO)–Canberra, conducted a two-day Consular Mobile Outreach led by Consul Ralph Vincent C. Abarquez.

The outreach served over 150 Filipinos who availed of various services such as passporting, civil registry, notarials, and dual citizenship processing. Meanwhile, MWO-Canberra verified the contracts of almost 50 workers.

The Philippine Consulate General in Melbourne holds consular jurisdiction over South Australia and Tasmania, and mobile consular outreaches are regularly undertaken to ensure the smooth delivery of consular services to Filipinos who may not be able to travel to a nearby foreign service post.
