29 November 2025, KINGSTON, TASMANIA – The Philippine Consulate General in Melbourne conducted a one-day Consular Mobile Outreach led by Consul General Jesus R. S. Domingo. The Consular Outreach served around 40 Filipinos and their families in Tasmania, and was helpful for minor applicants who find it more convenient to receive services in Tasmania as opposed to travelling to Melbourne.
The outreach services were simultaneously conducted during a Filipino Community event “Paskuhan Fiesta 2025”, a Filipino Christmas celebration, organized by (Philippine-Australia Community of Tasmania Inc. (PACT) in which Consul General Jesus R. S. Domingo participated in the PACT and during the event announced and encouraged all Filipinos to register in the on-going OVS registration in the Philippine Consulate in Melbourne as well as support the Philippine Consulate’s projects and events.
During the said event, Consul General Jesus R. S. Domingo awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the Department of Foreign Affairs to the Consul, a.h. Richard Van Neutegem for his service as he ends his term as Philippine Honorary Consul in Tasmania.
