Effective 16 January 2022<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The IATF-EID approved the following amendments to the entry and testing protocols for international arriving passengers in all ports of entry in the Philippines effective 16 January 2022 until further notice:<\/p>\n

 I. Testing and quarantine protocols for international arriving passengers in all ports of entry in the Philippines shall be as follows:<\/p>\n

A. The protocols for \u201cGreen\u201d List countries\/jurisdictions\/territories in all ports of entry in the Philippines shall be as follows:<\/p>\n

            1. Fully vaccinated international arriving passengers shall be required to present a negative Reverse Transcription – Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test taken within forty-eight hours (48hrs) prior to departure from the country of origin. Upon arrival, they shall no longer be required to observe mandatory facility-based quarantine but shall self-monitor for any sign or symptom for (7) days with the first day being the date of arrival.<\/p>\n

            2. For unvaccinated, partially vaccinated, or individuals whose vaccination status cannot be independently validated, they shall be required to present a negative RT-PCR test taken within forty-eight hours (48hrs) prior to departure from the country of origin. Additionally, they shall be required to undergo facility-based quarantine until the release of their negative RT-PCR test taken on the fifth (5th) day. After which, they are enjoined to self-monitor for any symptoms for fourteen (14) days, with the first day being the date of arrival.<\/p>\n

B. The protocols for \u201cYellow\u201d List countries\/jurisdictions\/territories in all ports of entry in the Philippines shall be as follows:<\/p>\n

            1. For fully vaccinated individuals: a negative RT-PCR test taken within forty-eight hours (48 hrs) prior to departure from the country of origin will be required. Upon arrival, they shall undergo facility-based Page 2 of 3 BJD.msm-07D6-6e11-ea4e Not valid without authentication code quarantine with an RT-PCR test taken on the fifth (5th) day, with the date of arrival being the first day. Once with a negative result, they may be released for completion of home quarantine up to the seventh (7th) day from the date of arrival.<\/p>\n

            2. Individuals who are unvaccinated, partially vaccinated, or whose vaccination status cannot be independently validated: a negative RTPCR test taken within forty-eight hours (48 hrs) prior to departure from the country of origin will be required. Upon arrival, they shall undergo facility-based quarantine with an RT-PCR test done on the seventh (7th) day, with the date of arrival being the first day. Once with a negative result, they may be released for completion of home quarantine up to the fourteenth (14th) day from the date of arrival.<\/p>\n

C. The protocols for \u201cRed\u201d List countries\/jurisdictions\/territories in all ports of entry in the Philippines shall be as follows:<\/p>\n

            1. The inbound international travel of all persons coming from or who have been to \u201cRed List\u201d countries\/jurisdictions\/territories within the last fourteen (14) days prior to arrival to any port of the Philippines shall be allowed.<\/p>\n

            2. For fully vaccinated individuals: a negative RT-PCR test taken within forty-eight hours (48 hrs) prior to departure from the country of origin will be required. Upon arrival, they shall undergo facility-based quarantine with an RT-PCR test taken on the seventh (7th) day, with the date of arrival being the first day. Once with a negative result, they may be released from facility quarantine, provided the completion of home quarantine up to the fourteenth (14th) day from the date of arrival.<\/p>\n

             3. For individuals who are unvaccinated, partially vaccinated, or whose vaccination status cannot be independently validated: a negative RTPCR test taken within forty-eight hours (48 hrs) prior to departure from the country of origin will be required. Upon arrival, they shall undergo facility-based quarantine with an RT-PCR test done on the seventh (7th) day, with the date of arrival being the first day. They may be discharged only upon the completion of a 10-day facility-based quarantine, regardless of a negative RT-PCR result, and shall observe home quarantine until the fourteenth (14th) day, with the date of arrival being the first day.<\/p>\n

D. Negative pre-departure RT-PCR tests taken seventy-two hours (72 hrs) prior to departure shall be honored until 0001H of 19 January 2022.<\/p>\n

E. All other provisions of IATF Resolution No. 154-C, Series of 2021, not affected by the foregoing shall remain in force.<\/p>\n

II. In addition to the foregoing, foreign nationals allowed to enter into the country shall be subject to the following protocols: Beginning 16 February 2022, proof of full vaccination shall be made a requirement for entry of all foreign nationals allowed to enter the Philippines. 1. An individual shall be considered as having been fully vaccinated for COVID19:<\/p>\n

            1. More than or equal to 2 weeks after having received the second dose in a 2-dose series, or<\/p>\n

            2. More than or equal to 2 weeks after having received a single-dose vaccine.<\/p>\n

            3. The vaccines administered to the individual are included in any of the following: a. Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) List or Compassionate Special Permit (CSP) issued by the Philippine Food and Drug Administration; or b. Emergency Use Listing of the World Health Organization.<\/p>\n

            4. Foreign nationals must have the following proofs of vaccination against COVID-19 recognized under existing IATF-EID regulations:<\/p>\n

                      <\/span>  <\/span>a. World Health Organization International Certificates of Vaccination and Prophylaxis;<\/span><\/p>\n

                       <\/span> <\/span>b. VaxCertPH; or<\/span><\/p>\n

                       <\/span> <\/span>c. National\/state digital certificate of the foreign government which has accepted VaxCertPH under a reciprocal arrangement unless otherwise permitted by the IATF.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Exceptions to the requirement that all passengers to be fully vaccinated and to provide proof of vaccination status prior to boarding an airplane\/vessel to the Philippines are absolutely limited to the following groups:<\/p>\n

            1. Children below eighteen (18) years of age;<\/p>\n

            2. People medically unable to receive the vaccine, as certified by a competent public health authority in the country\/port of origin; and<\/p>\n
